With incredible stuff to see in do in every direction, ArtDip can arrange a wide array of excursions in central Brittany.

Mont Saint Michel
People travel from far and wide to see this most famous of French monuments. Let ArtDip arrange a day excursion to this spectacular medieval abbey located on a tidal island overlooking the Baie de Mont Saint Michel. Bring your sketchbook and your camera!

Baie de Saint Brieuc
This protected bay in the English Channel is a paradise for plein air painters. Yes, it can get a bit windy, but the coastal paths, wild cliffs, sandy coves, and sparkling water are breathtaking. Tiny fishing ports and little seaside cafes abound!

Dinan
A truly breathtaking medieval town on a hill which must be seen to be believed! Take the meandering path around its ramparts, visit the chateau, and make the hike down the hill to visit the port on the river Rance. Inspiration is lurking around every corner. Dinan isn’t short on art galleries and arty shopping, either – not to mention the incredible crêperies – so don’t forget to bring your wallet along with your art supplies!

Pont Aven
This seaside town beloved by 19th century French artists like Gaugin now houses a wonderful museum dedicated to the visual arts.

Saint Malo
This walled port city famous for its pirates and resort vibe was nearly destroyed by bombing in WWII. It has since been fully restored and has lost none of its mystery, charm, or romance. Wander through its cafe-lined alleyways and try not to get too distracted by the gateaux, ice cream, or crêpes.
