Your home base in France is the elegant Le Manoir Caché, a beautifully restored 19th century manor house in the heart of the authentic French village of Merdrignac.

The property offers accommodation for eight people, including two private rooms. All guest rooms feature a comfortable en suite shower and bathroom.

Your studio space is located inside the property and accessible 24/7, so you can create when inspiration hits.

On a bright summer’s day, however, you may prefer working en plein air on the terrace or amidst the shadows of the ivy-covered 19th century gardens.

For meals, your hostess Anoushka will provide you with mouthwatering seasonal and local fare. Breakfasts feature fresh bread, pastries, homemade granola and jams, yogurt, and apple juice from a local orchard. Hot meals are available à la carte. Lunch is a buffet-style spread of cheese, charcuterie, salad, and bread, while Anoushka’s mouthwatering and inventive dinners feature whatever happens to be growing in the garden at the moment. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions, and we will be happy to accommodate. No need to worry about the language barrier — Anoushka is British and very comfortable with the English language!

Please note that this historical property does not have an elevator, and all rooms must be accessed by stairs. If this poses a problem, please let us know. Guests are responsable for their own shampoo and personal care items, although towels and soap are provided.

For groups who would prefer a self-catering accommodation (known in French as a gîte), we are happy to help arrange options inland or by the sea.
